Poem of the day

Since Robert Frost was the quote of the day I’ve decided to post my favorite poem by him to my blog. If you’ve ever watched the good old movie “The Outsiders” with actors Patrick Swayze, Ralph Macchio and Rob Lowe then you know what I’m talking about. I love that movie it’s one of my favorite movies and I have a long, long list of favorite movies!

Nothing Gold Can Stay by Robert Frost
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
