David Foster Wallace brings a shocker to the literary world by ending his life. Mr. Wallace suffered from depression until his death on September 12, 2008 he will be missed by many. Most people will probably know him most from his book a collection of essays titled A Supposedly Fun Thing I’ll Never Do Again. Mr. Wallace’s work can be found in Esquire, GQ, Harpers, and The New yorker. In 1996 his book “Infinite Jest” was published and became Time magazines “100 Best English language novels” from 1923-2005. Mr. Wallace was also a creative writing and English teacher at Pomona college.
